About Yoga for Bump
Yoga for Bump sessions are TOTALLY FREE. Each session includes a pregnancy yoga class, an informal chat with a local midwife, and the opportunity to hear about the latest pregnancy research.
Refreshments and yoga mats are provided – all you need to bring is yourself!
A local qualified midwife runs each class and is on hand to answer any pregnancy or health-related questions you may have: take part in group discussions or ask questions you haven’t asked at your appointments.
Yoga for Bump currently takes place in:
2:30pm – 4pm
6:30pm – 8pm
Exercise in pregnancy has many benefits. Yoga has been shown to make labour easier and decrease stress. Yoga is a low-impact exercise and recommended by healthcare practitioners.
Yoga for Bump sessions are run by a qualified midwife who has been running pregnancy exercise classes for 25 years in and around Birmingham.
